Bengaluru, April 18 (NationPress) A young man, who indecently exposed himself to a homemaker and assaulted seven individuals, including her spouse, when they confronted him, has been apprehended in Bengaluru, according to police reports released on Friday.

The suspect also attacked his own mother when she questioned his behavior.

As per the police, the individual, identified as Karthik, has been placed in judicial custody. He claimed that he was merely urinating when the homemaker caught sight of him.

A formal complaint has been lodged at the Shivajinagar police station.

On April 13, he reportedly unzipped his pants and flashed his private parts at the homemaker while she was on the second floor of her home.

The accused resided in a property directly across from the victim’s house. He also made obscene gestures, suggesting an intention to engage physically with her.

Startled by his actions, the woman raised an alarm and called for her husband’s assistance.

Infuriated, the accused began to assault the husband. When neighbors attempted to intervene, he retaliated with hollow blocks, flower pots, and window panes, as per the police report.

Authorities indicated that seven individuals were injured during the incident, three of whom suffered serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

Initial investigations suggest that the accused has a history of misconduct towards several women.

Previously, a video surfaced on social media showing two young women being harassed by a man in the early hours within a residential area.

The 17-second clip depicted the two women walking on a deserted street when a man approached from behind, pushed one aside, sexually harassed the other, and fled. The video recorded the visibly shaken women pausing to recover before hastily leaving the scene.

The Karnataka Police arrested the perpetrator, identified as 26-year-old Santosh Daniel, from a village in Kerala.
