Bengaluru, Jan 20 (NationPress) A young man made a desperate attempt to end his life by stepping in front of a train at the Jalahalli station on the Metro’s Green Line in Bengaluru on Monday. Fortunately, the train's loco pilot spotted him in time and brought the train to a halt, saving the young individual.

As per reports, the young man leaped onto the tracks and lay down just as the Metro train was approaching. Thanks to the quick actions of the loco pilot, the train was stopped, and no injuries were sustained by the young man.

In the aftermath of the incident, Metro services on this line were temporarily suspended, causing significant disruption for commuters during the busy morning hours.
