Yuva Kabaddi Series: Chandigarh Chargers Surge to the Top; UP Falcons Maintain Their Undefeated Streak in Division 2 Matches

Coimbatore, Dec 27 (NationPress) The Chandigarh Chargers and the UP Falcons achieved victories in their respective matches on the fifth day of the 11th Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 2 held at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, which was filled with thrilling moments as teams battled for the top two positions.

The day commenced with the Chandigarh Chargers defeating Panchala Pride with a score of 47-27. Dinesh shone brightly with a Super 10, while Gurmeet Dalal and Lakshay made significant contributions with High 5s in defense. Despite Panchala Pride players Aditya Kumar and Rahul Kumar scoring eight points each, they could not withstand the Chargers' fierce attack.

In the second match, the UP Falcons continued their unbeaten run with a close 30-26 win over Hampi Heroes. Rachit Yadav and Ashish Bhati spearheaded the attack, each securing seven raid points, while Navneet Nagar achieved a High 5. For Hampi, Darshan R. also reached a High 5, but his efforts were not enough to back his team.

In the third match, Chola Veerans claimed a hard-fought victory against Delhi Dhurandhars with a score of 35-32. Iyyappan Veerapandian was the standout player for Chola, netting an impressive 13 raid points. Kunal Tanwar from Delhi showed strong all-around skills with nine points, but his team fell short in the clutch moments.

The day wrapped up with Vizag Victors overcoming Sindh Sonics in a high-scoring clash, finishing at 50-39. Samara Simha Reddy Gunimini had a spectacular outing, scoring 19 raid points and receiving excellent support from his teammates. Balraj Singh stood out for the Sonics with 17 raid points, but his team's lack of cohesion proved detrimental.
