Yuva Kabaddi Series: Day 2 Features Thrilling High-Scoring Matches in Division 2

Coimbatore, Dec 25 (NationPress) The second day of the 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 2 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education showcased thrilling high-scoring matches, highlighted by remarkable individual achievements.
The day commenced with the Chandigarh Chargers narrowly defeating the Delhi Dhurandhars in a tightly contested match, concluding with a score of 48-41. The first half was tied, but the Chargers gained momentum in the final moments to clinch the win.
Dinesh and Bablu Singh spearheaded the Chargers with impressive Super 10s. For Delhi, Shubham Bhidhuri and Arpit Nagar both contributed 14 raid points, yet the team fell short under pressure during crucial moments.
The day’s second match was also a high-scoring affair. The Vizag Victors, participating in their opening game of the league, triumphed over the Panchala Pride with a score of 53-41. Gali Lakshma Reddy came off the bench to achieve a Super 10, while Kalturi Manohar delivered a solid performance with a High 5 for Vizag.
Ankit Singh excelled for Panchala with eight tackle points and two raid points, while Rahul Kumar had a remarkable outing from the bench, scoring 18 raid points and two tackle points, but it was insufficient to avert defeat.
The third match featured the Sindh Sonics showcasing a commanding performance against the Hyderabad Hurricanes, winning decisively with a score of 56-39. Kuldeep Kumar led with 18 raid points, supported by Balraj Singh with 13 raid points, while Manav Sharma contributed a High 5 for the Sonics. In contrast, Jakkula Rajashekar managed a Super 10 for Hyderabad, but the lack of team support led to their loss.
The day concluded with a lopsided match, as the Hampi Heroes overwhelmed the Chola Veerans to secure a 43-19 victory. Someshwara Darshan was the standout performer with 16 raid points, while Darshan R excelled defensively with eight tackle points for the Heroes.
Iyyappan Veerapandian was the sole contributor for the Chola Veerans, scoring eight raid points, but the absence of support from his teammates resulted in a significant defeat.
