Mumbai, Jan 6 (NationPress) Underworld don Abu Salem has filed a petition with the Bombay High Court to request emergency parole following the demise of his elder brother, Abu Hakim Ansari.
Salem is seeking authorization to travel to Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, to partake in family and religious observances.
The petition states that his elder brother, Abu Hakim Ansari, passed away on November 14, 2025. Salem referred to his brother as a father figure and expressed his desire to be present for the 40th-day rituals, participate in Quran recitation, offer prayers at the grave, and reunite with family.
