Hyderabad, Dec 8 (NationPress) Actor Manchu Manoj visited a hospital in Hyderabad for medical treatment of his injuries on Sunday, following reports of a confrontation with his father and esteemed actor Mohan Babu.

Manoj arrived at a private hospital located in Banjara Hills for his treatment. The actor, visibly in distress and struggling to walk, was accompanied by his wife, Mounika.

After receiving care, Manoj exited the hospital but refrained from answering questions posed by the media regarding the origin of his injuries. He also did not comment on the circulating reports that emerged earlier in the day.

It is believed that Manoj's hospital visit may serve to establish a medico-legal case, prompting police to plan a visit to his residence to document his statement.

Both Manoj and Mohan Babu have reportedly filed complaints against one another with the police via dial 100, who advised them to submit written complaints.

Manoj accused his father of physically assaulting him and his wife, while Mohan Babu has countered with his own claim, stating that his son attacked him.

The dispute between them is said to stem from issues related to family property, which encompasses a series of educational institutions in the sacred city of Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

In response to the reports of the altercation, Mohan Babu, through a spokesperson, appealed to the media to refrain from spreading unverified stories.

Mohan Babu is a distinguished figure in Tollywood, at the age of 72. He previously served as a Member of Parliament and has been involved with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) since its inception in 1982, founded by the legendary actor N. T. Rama Rao. In 1995, he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the TDP.

In 2019, he transitioned to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and actively participated in campaigning for the party in Andhra Pradesh. In 2022, he announced his departure from active politics, expressing a desire to concentrate on educational institutions and filmmaking.

Mohan Babu is a father to two sons and a daughter. Both of his sons, Manchu Manoj and Manchu Vishnu, along with his daughter Manchu Lakshmi, are involved in the film industry.

Last year, rumors of a family discord emerged when Manoj uploaded a video making allegations against his brother for frequently assaulting their relatives and close associates, although he later deleted the video.

Vishnu, however, refuted claims of any familial strife, asserting that Manoj's video was a part of a reality show.
