Patna, Nov 3 (NationPress) The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has strongly criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and his spouse Rabri Devi, attributing Bihar's industrial downturn to their 15-year governance, which he claims fostered lawlessness that led to the closure of the state’s industries and sugar mills.

While addressing a gathering in the Riga block of Sitamarhi, Shah pointed out that the state's industrial struggles—such as the shutdown of sugar mills, halted operations at the Barauni refinery, and postponed power initiatives—are a direct consequence of the extortion and fear tactics prevalent under the previous administration.

He acknowledged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for reinstating law and order and facilitating developmental initiatives in the state.

"Under Lalu and Rabri’s governance, Bihar experienced a reign of terror and lawlessness. Our sugar mill ceased operations due to extortion... Nitish Kumar has put an end to this environment of fear and opened the path for development," he remarked.

Amit Shah reiterated a commitment he made earlier in Riga, asserting that the operational Riga sugar mill is just the beginning.

He assured that the Centre's cooperative department will strive to restart all defunct sugar mills in Bihar to enhance the prosperity of sugarcane farmers.

The Union Minister drew a comparison between the current scenario and the past, highlighting that regions affected by Maoism previously suffered from limited voting.

"This time, the entire Bihar will participate in the voting process until 5 p.m., as Bihar is now liberated from Maoism," he declared.

He criticized what he termed as dynastic politics, claiming that Lalu Prasad Yadav aims to install his son, Tejashwi Yadav, as Chief Minister, while Sonia Gandhi seeks to position her son, Rahul Gandhi, as Prime Minister—asserting that neither would succeed as long as Nitish Kumar and PM Narendra Modi are in power.

"Let me make it clear today: neither Lalu's son will be the Chief Minister nor Sonia's son will become the Prime Minister. Nitish Kumar is in Bihar, and Narendra Modi is in the country," he stated.

"Narendra Modi has pledged for a developed India, and Nitish Kumar has committed to a developed Bihar. Without a developed Bihar, a developed India is not achievable. For a prosperous Bihar, ensure a decisive victory for the NDA," he emphasized.

He also condemned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Save the Infiltrators' campaign, warning that alleged infiltrators threaten job opportunities and rights, vowing to identify and expel each infiltrator in Bihar and nationwide.

"Rahul Gandhi recently visited Bihar for a 'Save the Infiltrators' campaign. These infiltrators are stealing food meant for the underprivileged, taking job opportunities from our youth, and those arriving from Bangladesh have no right to decide Bihar's Chief Minister. Rahul Gandhi, you can conduct 'Save the Infiltrators Rallies' across the nation, but we will ensure that every single infiltrator is removed from our land," he asserted.

He urged voters to provide a strong mandate for the NDA, asserting that a developed Bihar is crucial for a developed India.

After his address in Sitamarhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to a massive crowd in Madhubani district.

He announced that following the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the establishment of a grand temple dedicated to Goddess Sita has commenced at Punoura Dham in Sitamarhi, with an estimated expenditure of Rs 850 crore.

He asserted that these temples will symbolize development for both Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

He recalled PM Modi's vow regarding Pahalgam and stated: "In Madhubani, PM Modi pledged that those who harmed our tourists in Pahalgam based on their religion would face repercussions. Within just 20 days, PM Modi initiated Operation Sindoor. Our Army entered Pakistan, confronting terrorists in their homes and eliminating them."

He encouraged the people to vote to liberate Bihar from the 'Jungle Raj', alleging that the 15-year reign of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi was characterized by kidnapping, theft, extortion, looting, and murder, while the PM Modi–Nitish Kumar alliance has delivered development.

He also accused Lalu Prasad Yadav of showing disrespect towards Mithila culture.

Union Minister Shah stated that PM Modi has achieved what previous administrations could not: incorporation of the Maithili language into the Eighth Schedule, initiating the translation of the Constitution into Maithili, ensuring a GI tag for Madhubani paintings, and recognizing Padma Vibhushan awardee Sharda Sinha.
