Amit Shah: Mamata Banerjee's Efforts to Shield Illegal Infiltrators Will Fail
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Kolkata, April 10 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted on Friday that regardless of how much West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress attempt to shield illegal infiltrators following their election, their efforts will ultimately prove fruitless this time.
“No matter the extent of Mamata Banerjee's efforts, we will systematically identify and remove illegal infiltrators from the state. These infiltrators are taking jobs from the jobless and are living off the free rations provided by the state government,” Shah remarked.
“Once the election results are declared on May 4, we will locate and remove these infiltrators one by one. I also want to send a message to the antisocial elements supported by the Trinamool Congress: following the election results, they will find themselves behind bars,” he stated while speaking at a campaign rally in Debra, located in the West Midnapore district, amidst the essential assembly elections in West Bengal later this month.
He further commented that while PM Modi's goal is to ensure national security, Mamata Banerjee's singular focus is on securing the Chief Minister's position for her nephew after her tenure.
“The nightmare of 15 years of mismanagement under the Trinamool Congress will finally come to an end. The Bharatiya Janata Party will usher in a new era of development for West Bengal over the next five years. The state will rise again, free from the chains of fear, terror, appeasement politics, and corruption,” the Union Home Minister declared.
During his speech, he also refuted the claims that the Bharatiya Janata Party would halt financial aid schemes for women and unemployed youth if they assumed power in West Bengal, labeling such narratives as deliberate misinformation.
“As outlined in our manifesto released today, once the Bharatiya Janata Party forms the government, women and unemployed youth will receive increased financial support of Rs 3,000 per month starting the very next month. This amount will be provided regardless of any political affiliations,” Amit Shah emphasized.
