Kolkata, March 29 (NationPress) The Election Commission of India (ECI) revealed on Sunday evening the relocation of 184 inspector-level police officers across West Bengal in the midst of the significant two-phase Assembly elections occurring in the state.
Among the transferred officers, 153 belong to the West Bengal Police, while the remaining 31 are part of the Kolkata Police.
The bulk of these officers serve as either inspectors-in-charge or officers-in-charge at various police stations.
