Patna, Feb 27 (NationPress) A three-day exhibition was held in the Rohtas district of Bihar to promote awareness about the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and to motivate individuals to seek aid through this welfare initiative.

The event was inaugurated by Rohtas District Magistrate Udita Singh at the Sasaram Railway Ground as part of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

During the inauguration, the District Magistrate informed reporters that this unique initiative in the agricultural region of Rohtas aims to boost the industrial sector.

Following the opening ceremony, the DM toured the stalls showcasing various products and was joined by District Industries Officer Ashish Ranjan. The DM also made purchases from the beneficiaries' displays.

Rewa Kumari, who is specially disabled, stated, "I rely on sewing and embroidery for my livelihood. This scheme has greatly benefited me, and I encourage other women to participate—it's a pathway to reduce unemployment."

Another participant, Usha Devi, highlighted her work in making toys and sewing, urging community members to recognize the benefits of this initiative and to engage with it.
