Speaking at an election rally in Dwarka in anticipation of the February 5 Assembly elections, PM Modi emphasized that once the BJP government takes office, an Assembly session will be convened to present the CAG report, highlighting the financial discrepancies of the AAPda government.
“Jinhone Dilli ko loota hai, unhe lotana hi parega (Those who have looted Delhi will need to return the public funds),” the Prime Minister remarked, referencing numerous alleged scams, including the liquor policy scandal from the past decade.
He accused AAP leaders of misappropriating Delhi's funds and campaigning in other states using the proceeds of their corruption, assuring that strict measures would be taken against AAPda leaders once a BJP government is in place.
According to PM Modi, the visible support for BJP indicates that it is merely a matter of days before the AAP-da government is ousted, revealing its “kuccha chittha” (dubious deals).
He also promised voters that the BJP government will prioritize the city’s development.
Targeting Arvind Kejriwal for his extravagant Sheesh Mahal, valued in crores, PM Modi claimed that the AAPda leaders have not met the expectations of anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare and the residents of Delhi.
Criticizing the AAPda for its corrupt motives, he stated: “They focus on gaining attention through media promotion while neglecting vital infrastructure like roads and sewers.”
PM Modi criticized the AAP government for obstructing Central government initiatives aimed at providing permanent housing for all slum residents.
“I assure you that every impoverished individual will have their own home,” PM Modi stated, accusing AAP leaders of spreading falsehoods about the BJP’s commitment to slum dwellers.
He cautioned voters that AAP leaders are habitual deceivers and may deploy more “lie bombs” as elections approach.
