Raipur, Dec 16 (NationPress) In a notable administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, resulting in changes among district collectors and the reassignment of various responsibilities.
The order, released by the General Administration Department (GAD) on Tuesday, seeks to enhance administrative efficiency and introduce new officers to critical positions.
One significant appointment is that of IAS officer Bhoskar Vilas Sandeepan (2011 batch), who has been designated as the Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh until further notice. This appointment has received the endorsement of the Election Commission of India, indicating preparations for forthcoming electoral activities.
In terms of district-level modifications, Ranveer Sharma (IAS 2012) has been relieved from his duties as Managing Director of the National Health Mission and has taken on the additional role as Collector of Bemetara district.
Ajit Vasant (IAS 2013) has been named the new Collector of Sarguja district, which holds strategic importance in the state. Meanwhile, Kunal Dudawat (IAS 2017), who was previously engaged in duties in Dantewada district, is now the Collector of Korba district.
