New Delhi, May 30 (NationPress) Criticizing the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration for constructing a 'Sheeshmahal' of corruption, Delhi's Chief Minister on Friday pledged her commitment to the public and unveiled a workbook detailing her government's achievements over the initial 100 days in office.
In a media briefing ahead of the formal launch of her Cabinet's 100-day report card at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday, the CM stated, "The previous administration concentrated solely on creating a false image ('naam'), whereas our focus is on effective service ('kaam')."
"The former government was built on a decade of corruption and dividing ill-gotten gains, while our administration is dedicated to public service," CM Gupta declared, revealing plans for the ruling BJP to present the newly released workbook across all 70 Assembly constituencies.
She noted, "The previous AAP administration constructed a corruption-infested 'Sheeshmahal' worth crores, outfitted with extravagant curtains and TVs costing lakhs, spending funds obtained through corruption on self-promotion and advertising."
Earlier, CM Gupta remarked, "The workbook released today is a significant document reflecting the vital developmental journey of our capital."
"In these first 100 days, we have prioritized public welfare and progress," she asserted.
"At events organized in each Assembly and MCD ward, our leaders will present a report card highlighting the achievements of the past 100 days and outline future plans," CM Gupta stated.
She also emphasized the advantages of the 'double engine' government in the city, benefiting from the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP-led administration.
Earlier, Education Minister Ashish Sood mentioned that the Delhi government has initiated significant measures for skill enhancement.
"The Directorate of Training and Technical Education is formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four companies, including Maruti and Suzuki Motorcycle, to provide training for Delhi students in their facilities," he added.
