During the December 2025 session of the 'SWAGAT' program, the Chief Minister personally listened to citizens' concerns and provided explicit instructions to relevant authorities for timely and equitable resolutions.
He underscored that grievances submitted through 'SWAGAT' should be tackled through unified and proactive measures by various departments and district administrations.
The December session of 'SWAGAT', conducted on the fourth Thursday of each month, witnessed over 97 applicants presenting their issues directly to Chief Minister Patel.
Additionally, actions were taken at the district and taluka levels on 1,284 district 'SWAGAT' and 2,458 taluka 'SWAGAT' representations during the same timeframe.
Showing particular concern for farmers' matters, the Chief Minister instructed district collectors to ensure immediate compensation payments for the acquisition of agricultural land to farmers in Junagadh and Mehsana districts.
He also directed the Mehsana district administration to hasten compensation under the Sipu Yojana related to the Sabarmati–Saraswati Link Canal project.
In another instance from Junagadh, Chief Minister Patel ordered the district collector to carry out a local assessment and provide access road facilities to a farmer's field in Keshod taluka.
Highlighting the necessity for quality in urban infrastructure projects, the Chief Minister mandated strict actions against those failing to uphold standards in road and drainage projects, particularly referencing work executed by Kalol municipality.
On civic matters, Chief Minister Patel directed officials to promptly address barriers to providing underground drainage connections on jointly owned land in the Vapi municipality area.
He also instructed authorities to confirm ownership rights by recording a government-allocated free residential plot in village records for a beneficiary from Babra taluka.
Senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary Vikrant Pandey, Special Duty Officers Dheeraj Parekh and Rakesh Vyas, were present in Gandhinagar during the program, while district collectors and other officials participated via video conferencing.
