Tehran, April 14 (NationPress) The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran has declared that they will deploy new military capabilities if the conflict with the United States and Israel persists, as reported by the semi-official Fars news agency.

IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi stated, "We have not yet revealed our full potential, and should hostilities continue, we will disclose capabilities that are currently unknown to our adversaries."

On the same day, Reza Talaeinik, spokesperson for Iran's Defence Ministry, emphasized that the Iranian military's strengths are growing, boasting a sufficient arsenal of missiles, drones, weapons, ammunition, and other military assets to sustain future offensive and defensive actions, according to a report by Xinhua news agency citing the official Iranian news outlet IRNA.

Additionally, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, expressed on social media that the US's effort to enforce a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz represents a "revenge of choice" against the global economy.

Negotiations between delegations from Iran and the United States took place in Islamabad over the weekend, aiming to reduce tensions in the Middle East. These discussions, however, did not result in an agreement and followed a ceasefire declared on Wednesday between Iran, the United States, and Israel after 40 days of conflict.

Earlier that Monday, the US military announced the initiation of a blockade on all Iranian ports and coastal regions, stating it would permit only vessels traveling between non-Iranian ports to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump also issued a warning on Truth Social, stating that the US military would "eliminate" any Iranian vessel approaching the US blockade in the strait.

Trump commented, "Iran's Navy lies at the bottom of the sea, completely destroyed -- 158 ships. The only vessels we have not engaged are a small number of their so-called 'fast attack ships,' as we did not view them as a significant threat."

He added, "Warning: If any of these ships approach our BLOCKADE, they will be immediately ELIMINATED, utilizing the same lethal force we apply against drug traffickers at sea."
