New Delhi, July 30 (NationPress) BJP MLA Ram Kadam has commended Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) MP Supriya Sule on Wednesday for her commendation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament regarding Operation Sindoor, asserting that her statements exemplify a mature democracy.

"Supriya Sule may represent a different political party, yet she prioritized the nation over party lines. This is indicative of a mature democracy. When issues transcend national borders, it is the image of 'Maa Bharati' that comes first, not party affiliations. Supriya Sule has expressed this sentiment; Rahul Gandhi should take note," Kadam remarked in response to Sule's address.

During a special discussion in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Sule commended PM Modi's initiative to include opposition leaders in international delegations.

"For the nation, priority is given first, followed by the state, the party, and then the family... When Kiren Rijiju (Minister of Parliamentary Affairs) contacted me, all he said was, 'Supriya, you need to dedicate ten days for the nation.' It was the Prime Minister's greatness that he trusted opposition leaders to represent India abroad," she stated.

Kadam criticized Congress for referring to Operation Sindoor as a "tamasha," saying: "Numerous mothers lost their sons in this operation, and Congress dismisses it as a tamasha... This not only disrespects the martyrs but also ridicules national sentiment. Rahul Gandhi and Congress must apologize to the nation."

He further accused Congress of parroting narratives from adversarial nations.

"When the Prime Minister provided a clear and comprehensive account in Parliament about India's actions against Pakistan and terrorism, Congress and Shiv Sena-UBT leaders chose to ignore it. Rahul Gandhi appears to habitually read scripts from handlers across the border. Opposition figures in India are now articulating the rhetoric of enemy states; it's disgraceful."

During the debate on Operation Sindoor, Rahul Gandhi, the Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha, contended that the NDA government lacked the resolve to penalize the Pahalgam perpetrators.

Point of View

It is essential to recognize that the dynamics of Indian politics often shift with such statements. Ram Kadam's acknowledgment of Supriya Sule's remarks signifies a growing understanding that national interests should supersede partisan politics, a vital sentiment for the unity of our nation.
