Patna, Dec 4 (NationPress) On the fourth day of the winter session of the Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar provided a comprehensive overview of the accomplishments of the NDA government.
The Assembly also engaged in a discussion regarding the Governor's address.
In his closing remarks, CM Nitish directed his comments towards the opposition, saying, "We sidelined you (RJD leaders) twice and accomplished a great deal of work. During that period, you accepted everything I stated."
He continued, "When you faltered, we distanced ourselves, but now we shall not depart. This is our rightful place, and we intend to remain here. However, remember the progress our government has made."
Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav was absent from the Assembly during the Chief Minister's address.
Reiterating his criticism, CM Nitish questioned the opposition, "Why are you not active? Others are. If work is completed, it benefits everyone."
The NDA government frequently critiques the former RJD regimes for allegedly "plunging the state into darkness."
Following his statement, Bhai Virendra attempted to interrupt, but the Chief Minister persisted, asserting that his administration had relegated the opposition twice while delivering substantial developmental progress during the NDA terms.
During his address, CM Nitish also spotlighted the government's advancements in the healthcare sector.
He noted that primary health centers, which previously faced low attendance, now serve an average of 11,600 patients each month.
He also mentioned that the number of medical colleges in Bihar has increased from six to 12, with additional colleges being established in the remaining 27 districts.
He stated that construction efforts are advancing swiftly and will conclude soon.
The Chief Minister further highlighted the exceptional work undertaken to renovate the existing PMCH.
"We frequently visited the PMCH, constructed numerous buildings, and consistently check on every location. The PMCH hospital now boasts 5,400 beds," he concluded.
