Patna, March 13 (NationPress) Purnea MP Rajesh Ranjan, known as Pappu Yadav, asserted on Thursday that both the ruling and opposition factions in Bihar are inadvertently endorsing the agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rather than focusing on significant issues.

He contended that the BJP is orchestrating the narrative in Bihar, with leaders from Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) unwittingly advancing it.

Yadav highlighted that critical matters such as the Bihar Public Service Commission examinations, stipends for school cooks, and the welfare of Jeevika workers are being overlooked while JD-U and RJD engage in mutual blame.

He launched a fierce critique against the BJP, charging them with introducing 'Babas' (spiritual leaders) into Bihar as part of their electoral strategy prior to the forthcoming Assembly elections.

"The BJP is leveraging religious figures to sway voters ahead of the elections. The Bihar government must prohibit the entry of these 'Babas' into our state," Yadav stated.

When questioned about the Sambhal mosque matter, Pappu Yadav dismissed the controversy regarding the mosque's covering, saying, "Forget it, this isn't an agenda anymore."

He alleged that this issue was fabricated by the BJP to shift public focus.

He criticized the BJP for concentrating solely on Hindu-Muslim discussions rather than tackling real challenges.

Yadav condemned the politicization of Holi and Ramzan, asserting that Bihar has historically celebrated these festivals in unity and will not accept any attempts to divide communities.

Referring to the recent uproar over CM Nitish Kumar's alleged comments about women, he reminded, "PM Modi himself criticized Nitish Kumar during the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Now, Rabri Devi has called him out for the same issue."

He acknowledged former Bihar CM Rabri Devi's assertion that CM Nitish Kumar shows disrespect to women, and humorously remarked, "Due to his old age, mistakes are to be expected."

On the topic of Bihar's law and order, Yadav criticized the Bihar CM for the declining law and order situation, referencing the tragic Araria incident, where Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajiv Ranjan Mall was fatally injured during a clash with criminals and villagers on Wednesday night.

As political tensions escalate in Bihar, Pappu Yadav's comments intensify the ongoing discourse concerning the BJP's influence in shaping the state's political and religious dynamics.
