New Delhi, Nov 12 (NationPress) Upon his return from Bhutan on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went directly to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital, where he engaged with the victims of the recent Red Fort explosion who were receiving treatment there.
Arriving in the national capital in the afternoon after a two-day trip to Bhutan, PM Modi took the time to speak with the injured individuals and conveyed his wishes for their swift recovery.
At the hospital, he was also updated by medical staff and officials regarding the situation.
During his visit to Bhutan, the Prime Minister had conveyed profound sorrow over the tragic car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, pledging that the government would pursue the “strictest action” against the perpetrators.
