Police Advisory to Allu Arjun Regarding Hospital Visit

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (NationPress) The Ramgopalpet Police Station in Hyderabad has formally communicated with renowned actor Allu Arjun, urging him to refrain from visiting KIMS Hospital located in Secundarabad to meet the boy who suffered injuries during the stampede at Sandhya Theatre.

The notice, issued by the Station House Officer of Ramgopalpet Police Station, states, "In light of the increased public interest surrounding this incident, and to ensure that the hospital’s operations and other patients are not disrupted, we advise you to reconsider this public visit."

After receiving the notice, the actor has seemingly decided against his visit to the hospital, which was initially planned for Sunday morning.

Allu Arjun had intended to go to the hospital following his appearance at Chikkadpally Police Station on the same day, as mandated by a city court when granting him regular bail.

The notice additionally mentions that should the actor still wish to visit the hospital, it is imperative that his management liaises with both hospital authorities and the police to arrange his entry and exit in a manner that minimizes disruption to hospital patients and the general public.

The actor was also advised to keep his visit discreet to avoid drawing public/media attention, which could disturb the tranquil atmosphere of the hospital.

The notice warns that should there be a lack of cooperation from his side, he would bear full responsibility for any adverse outcomes stemming from his visit.

Currently, Sri Tej, an eight-year-old boy injured in the stampede during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' on December 4, continues to receive treatment at KIMS Hospital.

Tragically, Sri Tej’s mother, Revathi, lost her life in the stampede, leading to significant outrage and police charges against the actor, his team, and the theatre management for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Authorities have alleged that Allu Arjun attended the theatre without prior permission and conducted a 'roadshow,' contributing to the unfortunate incident.

Moreover, the actor has faced backlash for not reaching out to the deceased's family or visiting the injured boy in the hospital.

In contrast, Allu Arjun’s father and producer Allu Arvind has visited the hospital twice, and during his most recent visit on December 25, he donated a cheque of Rs 2 crore to the victim's family.

Allu Arjun himself has contributed Rs 1 crore, while Mythri Movies, the film's producers, have pledged Rs 50 lakh. The film’s director, Sukumar, has also donated Rs 50 lakh to the family.

On December 13, Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the case and was presented before the Nampally Court, which remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody.

The same day, he was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court for four weeks, and he was released the following day.

On January 3, the Nampally Court granted him regular bail, which includes a condition to report to Chikkadpally Police Station every Sunday.
