Baba Ramdev's Insight: No Victory for America or Defeat for Iran in West Asia Conflict
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Haridwar (Uttarakhand), March 26 (NationPress) Yoga master and co-founder of Patanjali, Baba Ramdev, commented on the ongoing West Asia conflict, stating, "Neither America will triumph, nor will Iran face defeat." He called for global harmony during a recent event.
Ramdev emphasized, "As I mentioned before, neither America will prevail in this conflict, nor will Iran be vanquished. Iran's capability to launch ballistic missiles over distances of 1000-1200 km to 4000-5000 km and its bombings illustrate that weapons cannot intimidate anyone." These remarks were made to reporters at a Ram Navami celebration at Patanjali Yogpeeth.
He added, "Democracy should not be about instilling fear. America, which prides itself as the largest democracy, must also respect the sovereignty of other nations."
Highlighting India's potential role in mediating the conflict, he stated, "India must continue to promote unity globally, adhering to the principle of 'Vasudev Kutumbakam' (the world is one family). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking necessary political and diplomatic steps."
Ramdev expressed confidence that if mediation could halt the conflict involving Israel, America, and Iran, it could alleviate the global petrol and gas crisis as well as the current economic turmoil. "I believe that dialogue can offer solutions to these crises, and India can play a significant role in this endeavor," he asserted.
He maintained that India has the potential to rescue the world from the turmoil stemming from this war.
Ramdev also urged unity on national issues, particularly concerning foreign policy. On the occasion of Ram Navami, he conveyed, "Best wishes to all on Ram Navami. The influence of digital media is diminishing the character of our daughters. I encourage everyone to use these festive occasions to cultivate a profound appreciation for our rich cultural heritage among children."
