Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) Several members of the film industry have been visiting Lilavati Hospital to check on Saif Ali Khan, who was allegedly stabbed during an attempted robbery. Recently, Sanjay Dutt and Malaika Arora were spotted outside the hospital.

Amrita Arora and her spouse Shakeel Ladak also visited Karisma Kapoor's residence amid this shocking event. Previously, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan also came to Lilavati Hospital to see the actor.

Reports indicate that Saif Ali Khan was brought to the hospital by a member of his domestic staff, contradicting earlier reports that Ibrahim Ali Khan was responsible. A source provided clarity, stating, “Neither Ibrahim nor Taimur. The house help transported the actor to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw.”

If the accounts are accurate, Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a 2.5 inch knife by the alleged thief who invaded his Bandra home through the room of his younger son Jeh.

Saif Ali Khan sustained six injuries that necessitated surgery. Doctor Nitin Dange, who was involved in the surgery, was quoted saying, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted at 2:00 am. He suffered a significant injury to the spinal cord due to the lodged knife. Surgery was performed to extract the knife and repair the leaking spinal fluid. Two other deep wounds on his left hand and neck were also addressed by the plastic surgery team. He is currently stable and recuperating well.”

Reports suggest that around 2:15 am, a burglar allegedly entered the actor's house and attacked their house help. Saif Ali Khan's sleep was disrupted by the noise. Upon entering the room, he discovered the perpetrator arguing with their house help. Saif Ali Khan bravely chose to confront the attacker to protect the house help.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was also present at home with other family members during the incident.

The Mumbai police are currently investigating the case and have three suspects in custody.
