Los Angeles, July 15 (NationPress) Actress and singer Suki Waterhouse recently went through a challenging ordeal. Over the past few months, she has been noticeably absent from X, previously known as Twitter. Revealing the unexpected reason behind her lack of activity, Waterhouse disclosed that she has not been in good health and even required a hospital visit.
“Suki, you never tweet anymore'—have you considered that I wore pants so tight six months ago that it led to a hernia and I’ve been too frightened to share?” she expressed on the platform.
The post included two images, one showing Waterhouse resting in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and having a cannula in her arm, according to ‘People’ magazine.
The selfie also depicted her with a hospital wristband, white earphones, and a vape resting on her chest. The second image captured her posing under vibrant green trees and a massive disco ball while dressed in tight, dark green pants.
As reported by ‘People’, the photo seemed to be taken during the artist's Sparklemuffin Tour across North America, which she initiated in September 2024 and concluded in December to celebrate the launch of her second studio album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin.
Before the tour, the Dream Woman singer opened for Taylor Swift at one of the stops in her hometown of London. Following her tour, Waterhouse held a three-night residency at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles in March. According to the Mayo Clinic, an "inguinal hernia occurs when tissue, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. This bulge can be painful, especially when you cough, bend over, or lift heavy objects.”
Waterhouse's hospital visit came shortly after she welcomed her first child with her fiancé Robert Pattinson in March 2024.
