New Delhi, April 7 (NationPress) Washington Sundar, who played a pivotal role with a significant innings of 49 runs to aid Gujarat Titans (GT) in their victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in IPL 2025, expressed that he was truly ready to showcase his skills whenever an opportunity arises.

In pursuit of 153 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Washington’s elevation to the number four position proved beneficial as he scored 49 runs off 29 balls, featuring five fours and two sixes, with an impressive strike-rate of 168.97, allowing GT to take control of the match and finish it with 20 balls to spare.

“Honestly amazing, I really believed in the preparation I've done over the last 3-4 weeks. I genuinely felt that whenever my chance arrives, I will be ready. I am very pleased with the way I batted,” he stated.
