New Delhi, Oct 21 (NationPress) Farmers are increasingly adopting innovation and clean energy solutions under the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as stated by Pralhad Joshi, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, on Tuesday.
The minister highlighted an inspiring case of a farmer who generates 25,000 units of electricity daily through solar technology while simultaneously cultivating crops beneath the solar panels.
"Each day, 25,000 units of electricity are produced from the solar installations above, allowing vibrant crops to thrive below—this is a remarkable illustration of how India's farmers are leveraging innovation and clean energy under PM Modi's guidance," Joshi remarked on his official X account.
Furthermore, he noted that India achieved a remarkable addition of 25 GW of renewable energy capacity during the April to September period this year. With close to 125 GW of solar capacity, India now ranks as the third largest solar producer worldwide.
