On Sunday, the actress expressed her sentiments on Instagram, posting a photo of herself alongside the actor. In her lengthy caption, she emphasized the need for enhanced safety measures for the artist community.

She stated, "The violent assault on Saif Ali Khan at his residence in the early hours a few days ago has sent shock waves through our society, particularly within the acting community. Having experienced a burglary at my own home, I feel this situation highlights the urgent need for security."

She continued, "I strongly urge all my friends and colleagues to exercise extreme caution when allowing any workers into our homes ... whether it's painters, plumbers, electricians, or new household staff. Obtaining an AADHAR CARD and taking a photo before they enter is crucial. Saif has been a dedicated member of CINTAA for many years, and as its President, I unequivocally condemn such dreadful acts that threaten our safety and that of our families. We trust that our capable police force will apprehend the perpetrator soon. I wish Saif a swift recovery."

Saif was attacked multiple times while attempting to fend off a burglar during the early hours of Thursday. The actor suffered six stab wounds, with two being critical due to their proximity to his spine. The incident unfolded at 2:15 a.m. when the burglar allegedly broke into their Bandra residence, assaulted their house help, and then attacked Saif as he intervened.

Awakened by the disturbance in his son Jeh's room, Saif entered to find the intruder in a confrontation with their house help. In an effort to protect the staff member, Saif bravely intervened without any weapons.
