Los Angeles, Dec 27 (NationPress) Reality television personality Helen Flanagan has opened up about her challenges during this year’s festive season, describing it as an “up and down” experience as she navigates the holidays without her children amid tensions with their father, Scott Sinclair.
The 35-year-old former star of ‘Coronation Street’ took to Instagram to share her emotional journey following her public criticism of the ex-footballer’s parenting choices, according to reports from Mirror.co.uk.
Recently, Helen did not hold back when she labeled her former partner as a “piece of st” for opting to enjoy a trip in Abu Dhabi instead of attending their son’s nativity play.
However, putting the drama aside momentarily, she posted a photo of herself in a pink halterneck top, relaxing in a chair and looking upwards.
In her candid caption, Helen, who is currently portraying the Wicked Queen in the Snow White pantomime in Liverpool during the holiday season, expressed, “Been a bit up and down mood wise the past few days. So not really been on my social so thought we could have a catch up”.
She then shared a nostalgic snapshot from last year’s Christmas festivities with her three children: Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four.
Helen ended her relationship with her former fiancé in 2022 after being together for 13 years. She continued, “I struggled with the kids going for Christmas a few days before they went. I know it’s just a day. They went on the 22nd and I don’t get them back until I finish panto”.
Referring to the photo she shared, she reminisced, “This was last year at my mum's. Been a bit up and down mood wise the past few days”.
The journey has been tumultuous for the parents of three, Helen and Scott, who ended their relationship in 2022. Just last week, Helen referred to Scott as “a piece of s*” in a scathing tirade.
