Los Angeles, Oct 25 (NationPress) Renowned singer-songwriter Jon Bon Jovi is gearing up to embark on a journey to create his own biopic. He aims to follow the path of his friend Bruce Springsteen, although he has not specified a timeline for its release.
The artist mentioned that he intends to proceed with his biopic "at some point," according to reports from Female First UK.
Bruce Springsteen, affectionately known as "The Boss," recently unveiled "Deliver Me From Nowhere," featuring Jeremy Allen White as the iconic Born to Run singer.
In a fun twist, Jon Bon Jovi revealed that his son Jake Bongiovi, 23, will take on the role of his father if the biopic comes to fruition.
However, at 63, the music legend remarked to The Sun, “I’m not in my final chapter yet. I’m living my next chapter.”
Jovi has recently collaborated with fellow New Jersey musician Springsteen on a duet titled Hollow Man for the band's Forever (Legendary Edition) album, which showcases reimagined tracks from their upcoming 2024 LP. Additionally, Bon Jovi has announced the Forever Tour alongside the release of their Forever (Legendary Edition) album.
The legendary rock band, featuring guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, and drummer Tico Torres, is set to perform in New York, Edinburgh, Dublin, and London during the summer of 2026, marking their first UK and Ireland shows since 2019 and marking the singer’s return following vocal cord surgery.
The tour will commence in New York on July 7 at Madison Square Garden. The UK and Ireland leg will feature performances at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on August 28, Dublin’s Croke Park on August 30, and London’s Wembley Stadium on September 4.
Bon Jovi expressed, “There is a lot of joy in this announcement, joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans. I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited.”
This tour announcement comes after the frontman’s well-publicized vocal cord surgery and rehabilitation, which were documented in the acclaimed Hulu docu-series, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.
He stated, “Vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab was a well-documented journey that played out while releasing Forever in June 2024. I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach for me.”
