Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 22 (NationPress) Following Anurag Kashyap's derogatory remarks about director Kamakhya Narayan Singh's film The Kerala Story 2, which he labeled as a propaganda film, Singh has responded by asserting that Kashyap has become mentally weak.
In a video shared on social media, Kamakhya stated, "Anurag Kashyap ji mentioned that no one serves Khichdi in this manner. I completely agree with him. No one can offer Laddu in this way. However, regrettably, in our society, innocent daughters are being fed beef to convert their religion. This is a crime."
He continued by expressing that Kashyap appears to have a problem with various aspects of life, including Brahmins, Netflix, and the film industry.
"The issue lies in the fact that Anurag Kashyap ji has become mentally weak. He finds fault with everything. He takes issue with Brahmins, Netflix, and the film industry. This individual has a problem with everything. He once created a film titled The Girl in Yellow Boots, showcasing an inappropriate relationship between a father and daughter, which is unfathomable in a civilized society. But alas, this man has become mentally weak," he remarked.
Kamakhya further claimed that society no longer takes Kashyap seriously.
"All his films have flopped for many years. I pray for him to gain better sense. Kerala Story 2 is based on true events, and its trailer is resonating well with audiences. Thank you," concluded the director.
Recently, during a media interaction, Kashyap was asked if he had viewed the trailer for The Kerala Story 2. He responded by dismissing the film as bull propaganda, stating that no one serves beef in such a manner, nor do they even serve khichdi like this. Kashyap accused the filmmakers of merely seeking profit.
