Mumbai, Jan 17 (NationPress) Saif Ali Khan left everyone anxious after sustaining significant injuries during a robbery attempt at his home in Bandra. Chief Neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, Dr. Nitin Dange, provided a statement indicating that the actor had a near-fatal incident, saved by a mere 2 mm.

When we examined him, he was in a room rather than the ICU. He had injuries on his hand and neck, but the most severe was on his spinal cord. A knife was lodged in his back, and a CT scan revealed it was dangerously close to the spinal cord. We promptly commenced a six-hour operation, where we successfully removed the knife from his spinal cord."
