Varun Dhawan Supports Allu Arjun Following His Arrest

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, currently promoting his forthcoming release ‘Baby John’, has publicly expressed his support for Telugu film icon Allu Arjun following his recent arrest by law enforcement in Hyderabad.
A video featuring Varun discussing the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre has circulated online.
In the video, the actor stated, “Safety measures are not solely the responsibility of an actor. We can only inform those around us. I can only speak to this. The arrangements made by Cinepolis theatre are commendable, and we appreciate their efforts. Please don’t misunderstand me; the event that occurred in Hyderabad is truly heartbreaking. I extend my condolences. However, I believe that the fault cannot be assigned to just one individual.”
Varun came to Allu Arjun's defense, suggesting that the Telugu superstar should not bear full responsibility for the incident.
Allu Arjun was reportedly taken into custody from his residence in Hyderabad on Friday for questioning by the authorities. The ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ actor expressed his displeasure regarding the police entering his bedroom, asserting that it was inappropriate for them to invade his private space.
This arrest is linked to a fan’s tragic death at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of his latest film, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Allu Arjun is the fourth individual to be detained in connection with this case.
During the film's premiere on December 4, the actor attended Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad to enjoy the film alongside his fans. Unfortunately, a surge in the crowd led to a stampede that resulted in a fan named Revathi and her young son being suffocated in the chaos. Revathi tragically lost her life, while her son remains hospitalized in critical condition. The police have arrested the theatre owner and two employees following a complaint lodged by her family.
