Two Teenagers Arrested for Armed Robbery and Collision in Melbourne, Australia

Sydney, Dec 8 (NationPress) The Australian police have formally charged two teenage boys with armed robbery, weapons offenses, and driving violations in Melbourne.
According to a statement from the police in the state of Victoria on Sunday morning, it is alleged that two offenders, armed with machetes, confronted a male victim in Skye, a suburb and semi-rural area of Melbourne, around 2:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
The suspects, aged 16 and 15, threatened the 16-year-old victim, demanding his shoes and phone. The victim complied, and the offenders fled the scene in a silver Toyota Kluger. Fortunately, the victim was not harmed.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. local time, the same two suspects allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened a woman in parkland in another suburb of Melbourne. The 29-year-old victim was unharmed, and the offenders again drove away in the silver Toyota Kluger, operating the vehicle recklessly and at high speeds.
Police spotted the Toyota around 5:30 p.m. local time and maintained a safe distance while tracking the vehicle to Frankston-Dandenong Road, where it collided with two other vehicles.
There were no injuries reported. The two suspects abandoned the Toyota and allegedly fled on foot into a nearby paddock. Police initiated a foot pursuit and apprehended the two males, who were found with balaclavas and gloves. Officers also conducted a search of the Toyota, seizing a knife and components of an imitation firearm.
