Two Teenagers Arrested in Connection with Alleged Armed Robbery and Collision in Melbourne, Australia

Sydney, Dec 8 (NationPress) Australian authorities have charged two teenage boys with armed robbery, weapons-related offenses, and driving violations in Melbourne.
Officials from the state of Victoria reported on Sunday that it is claimed the two suspects, armed with machetes, confronted a male victim in Skye, a suburb located in the semi-rural area of Melbourne, around 2:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, according to the Xinhua news agency.
The suspects, aged 16 and 15, allegedly threatened the 16-year-old victim, demanding his shoes and phone. After complying, the victim was unharmed. The offenders fled the scene in a silver Toyota Kluger.
Approximately at 2:30 p.m. local time, the same two alleged offenders reportedly brandished a firearm and threatened a woman in a park in another suburb of Melbourne. The 29-year-old victim escaped without physical injury, and the suspects again drove away in the silver Toyota Kluger, exhibiting reckless and speedy driving.
Police spotted the vehicle around 5:30 p.m. local time, maintaining a safe distance as they tracked the Toyota to Frankston-Dandenong Road, where it collided with two other vehicles.
No injuries were reported from the collision. The suspects abandoned the Toyota and fled on foot into a nearby field. Police engaged in a foot pursuit and successfully apprehended the two males, who were allegedly found with balaclavas and gloves. A subsequent search of the Toyota revealed a knife and components of an imitation firearm.
