Abu Dhabi, March 20 (NationPress) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has revealed the successful outcomes of its mediation initiatives in a recent exchange of war captives between Russia and Ukraine on Wednesday. This exchange involved 175 Ukrainian captives and 175 Russian captives - totaling 350 captives - which raises the cumulative number of individuals exchanged through UAE mediation efforts to 3,233.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed gratitude towards the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine for their collaboration with the UAE's mediation initiatives. This cooperation highlights the recognition both nations have for the UAE’s role in facilitating efforts to resolve the ongoing crisis.
