A Day in the Life: Rahul's Punctuality Joking with Party MP

New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, was spotted on Tuesday enjoying some light-hearted banter with party MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. In a humorous exchange, Randhawa tried to remind him about the importance of punctuality in Parliament, as depicted in a video that was shared on social media.
As they exited the main building, Gandhi could be heard telling Randhawa, in Hindi, that attendees must arrive on time, asserting that there can be no excuses for tardiness in meetings.
Randhawa, caught off guard by the accusation of being late, questioned Gandhi about which meetings he was referring to.
Pointing towards the building, Gandhi replied, "Meetings here," prompting Randhawa to erupt in laughter as he remarked, "Sir, I arrived much earlier than you did."
"No, no, my arrival time was at 50 (10.50 a.m.)," Gandhi responded with a grin, seeking affirmation from fellow party MPs, including K.C. Venugopal, who all shared in the lightheartedness and laughed heartily while accompanying the LoP.
Earlier, both Houses of Parliament had their sessions adjourned due to a commotion surrounding allegations against George Soros.
The Rajya Sabha was suspended after the Leader of the House and Union Minister J.P. Nadda accused Rahul Gandhi of functioning as a "tool" for foreign entities and playing a role in fostering instability within the nation.
Nadda highlighted that an organization known as the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) aims to undermine the sovereignty of various nations, including India.
In response, the Congress and its allies in the Rajya Sabha initiated a no-confidence motion against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, with members of the INDIA bloc formally presenting their proposal to the Secretary General of the Upper House.
The Opposition claimed that the Chairman has been managing the proceedings of the Upper House in a distinctly biased manner, leaving them with no alternative but to take this extraordinary action.
