Ahmedabad, February 27 (NationPress) - Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), expressed at the recent GreenX Talks that this initiative transcends being a mere forum; it embodies the Adani Group's philosophy of measuring growth through inclusion rather than mere scale.

During the inauguration of the fifth edition of GreenX Talks at the Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad, he remarked: "Power may be fleeting, but character is enduring," underscoring that individuals hold the reins of their own future.

This edition of GreenX Talks reinforced a core tenet of the Adani Group—growth is defined not by size alone but through inclusion.

Diva Adani, his wife, elaborated on this philosophy, emphasizing that GreenX recognizes talent based on merit, not sympathy. Inclusion, she noted, is about fostering environments where individuals belong because they have rightfully earned their positions.

In a display of institutional inclusion, the event featured V. Vidyavathi, Secretary of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, as the Chief Guest.

Her presence highlighted the ongoing commitment from the Central government to enhance rights-based frameworks, expand accessibility, and create opportunities for livelihood, skill development, and social security for persons with disabilities nationwide.

Renowned classical dancer and actress Sudha Chandran spoke on the themes of resilience and reinvention, encouraging people to rise above circumstances. "When life presents challenges, respond with determination, not limitation," she asserted, echoing the event's message that dignity and determination shape destiny.

Visually-impaired entrepreneur Srikant Bolla, Founder of Bollant Industries, delivered a memorable statement: "If you don’t dream the impossible, you cannot achieve it. I am a man of tomorrow, not yesterday," stressing that challenges can ignite purpose and that every ‘no’ can transform into a ‘yes’.

The event also featured the Adani Ability Awards, presented by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.

Ajay Kumar Reddy, former captain of the Indian Blind Cricket Team, received recognition in the Adaptive Sports Excellence category.

Ayushi Dabas, IAS officer and public policy expert, was awarded for Excellence in Public Service. Lt Col C. Dwarkesh, an advocate for adaptive sports within the Indian Army, was acknowledged for his Service Courage in Adaptive Sports Excellence.

Malvika Iyer, a disability rights activist and international speaker, was honored for Outstanding Disability Advocacy. Artist and creative practitioner Sheela Sharma received the award for Excellence in Creative Expression.

Bolla was recognized for Excellence in Inclusive Entrepreneurship, while Chandran was celebrated for her Excellence in Cultural Contribution.

Social entrepreneur Alina Alam, founder of Mitti Cafe, received the Award for Disruptive Employee Model, and Meera Shenoy, founder of Youth4Jobs, was honored for Excellence in Execution. Members of the Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team were also celebrated during the event.
