Assets of Terrorists Linked to Pakistan Seized by J&K Police

Jammu, Dec 27, (NationPress) In a remarkable operation against anti-national elements, the properties of three terrorists engaged in unlawful activities and operating from foreign territories have been seized in accordance with the provisions of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), as stated by the police on Friday.
The properties confiscated include that of Khadim Hussain, a resident of Kandi, Tehsil Kotranka, District Rajouri – covering an area of 3 Kanals, 4 Marlas, and 31 Sq Feet.
Muneer Hussain, a resident of Gakhrote, Tehsil Kotranka, District Rajouri, has had his property seized, which measures 2 Kanals and 8 Marlas.
Mohd Shabir, who resides in Panjnara, Tehsil Kotranka, District Rajouri, has had his property of 2 Kanals, 2 Marlas, and 253 Sq Feet attached.
The total area of the seized properties amounts to 7 Kanals and 15 Marlas, with an estimated value of around Rs 18.5 lakh.
The police emphasized that this action was executed following the directives of the Hon'ble Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (JMIC), Kotranka.
This operation was carried out by a collaborative effort of the police and civil administration.
This decisive move highlights the determination of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the district administration to tackle anti-national elements and ensure public safety.
The police further urged the public to report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies to bolster peace and security in the area.
This initiative is part of a broader crackdown aimed at dismantling the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.
On November 28, the District Police Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir made a significant breakthrough against terror networks by successfully attaching the properties of seven absconding terrorists currently operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan.
In April, in a show of strength against wanted local terrorists based in Pakistan, the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a special operation against absconders/wanted terrorists, leading to the attachment of properties belonging to four terrorist handlers who had been declared as proclaimed offenders by the court.
