Initial reports indicate that a group of armed assailants launched a sudden attack on individuals present for land registration procedures.

The five victims were initially rushed to a local health facility for urgent care but were subsequently transferred to Arrah for more intensive treatment due to the seriousness of their injuries.

Law enforcement swiftly responded to the incident, and teams from multiple police stations, spearheaded by the SDPO, have commenced investigations and are conducting raids to apprehend those responsible.

This incident coincides unsettlingly with Nitish Kumar's planned visit to Arrah on March 25 as part of his Samriddhi Yatra.

In a separate incident, a man lost his life at the hands of unidentified attackers in Rohtas district.

This tragic event occurred in the Moradabad area under the jurisdiction of the Mufassil police station, where Hasan Raza Khan was brutally attacked amid ongoing disputes related to land transactions.

According to police accounts, tensions from this dispute had been escalating over several days.

On Tuesday, while traveling on his motorcycle, Hasan was reportedly surrounded by a group who assaulted him with sharp weapons.

He sustained multiple injuries from the attack before being left critically wounded on the roadside, and unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

After a post-mortem examination, his remains were returned to grieving family members, who are devastated by this loss.

The community is now engulfed in a tense atmosphere.

In response, police arrived promptly and initiated an investigation.

During follow-up efforts, authorities executed a raid at a garage in Moradabad, uncovering two country-made pistols and two live cartridges.

Additionally, the motorcycle belonging to the deceased was confiscated as part of the ongoing investigation.

To date, five individuals—including a minor and three women—have been taken into custody and are currently being interrogated.

Authorities are tirelessly working to unravel the complete chain of events and identify all parties involved.
