New Delhi, Feb 13 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, has publicly criticized AAP leader and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for transforming the X account "CMO Delhi"—which was developed, maintained, and recognized using taxpayer money—into his private X account under the moniker "Kejriwal at Work".

Sachdeva further called upon Lt Governor V.K. Saxena to request an investigation by the Delhi government's social media and IT department regarding this alleged digital appropriation by Kejriwal.

"The Twitter and YouTube accounts associated with Delhi CMO, which are public assets managed by the Delhi government with public resources, have now been seized by Arvind Kejriwal," he stated.

According to him, instead of functioning as a representative of the government, these accounts are being exploited to advance the ‘Arvind Kejriwal Network’, which he described as an overt act of digital theft and plundering.

"Following various scandals involving the Jal Board, liquor policy, education, and healthcare, Arvind Kejriwal has now emerged as a digital thief. This is a blatant betrayal of the people of Delhi," Sachdeva remarked.

Sachdeva continued, "Additionally, Kejriwal has misappropriated government funds by hiring party supporters as government staff. However, this new format of digital plunder is unprecedented. It is unlikely that any outgoing Chief Minister in our nation has committed such an act before."

He stressed that labeling Arvind Kejriwal a "digital looter" is not an exaggeration, especially considering he employed these tactics immediately after the collapse of his government.

The Delhi BJP President has now called upon the Lt Governor to investigate how the “CMO Delhi” X handle—developed using public funds—was repurposed for personal use by Kejriwal. He also demanded that this digital plundering be halted without delay.

Sachdeva pointed out that millions followed the “CMO Delhi” X account, believing it to be the official account of the Chief Minister.

By executing this digital heist, Kejriwal has not only misused governmental resources but also jeopardized citizens' private data, warranting legal consequences.
