BJP Alone Can Provide Financial Aid to Women in Delhi: Sachdeva

New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) Emphasizing the BJP's dedication to empowering women through monthly financial support, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday charged AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal with disseminating falsehoods and failing to provide the promised financial aid to women in Punjab.
Sachdeva asserted that the BJP is the sole political party that has successfully provided financial support to women in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Haryana.
“If there is a party in Delhi capable of delivering financial assistance to women, it is the BJP – led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Sachdeva stated, addressing Kejriwal’s latest claims that the BJP is obstructing the AAP government's Mahila Samman Yojana.
“We will not mislead women as the AAP government did in Punjab,” he added, questioning why Kejriwal has only now proposed financial assistance for women as elections approach, while neglecting to act during the previous 12 years of his administration.
Describing Kejriwal’s promise to provide Rs 2,100 to women monthly as a deception, the Delhi BJP chief mentioned, “Numerous women in Delhi are lodging police complaints regarding the unauthorized collection of their information by AAP volunteers.”
He also reported that an investigation has been initiated into the illicit data collection, based on the complaints received at police stations, sharing copies of some police reports filed by women.
“I urge the women of Delhi to be cautious, as the AAP volunteers gathering their information may engage in financial fraud, potentially stealing funds from their accounts instead of transferring money,” Sachdeva warned.
Blaming Kejriwal for spreading misinformation regarding the women's financial support scheme, Sachdeva stated that the former Delhi Chief Minister has not clarified whether the Delhi Cabinet has approved any plan to grant Rs 2,100 each to women monthly.
“Does he have any explanation for why the AAP government has failed to disburse the promised Rs 1,000 monthly assistance to women in Punjab, despite being in control for three years?” he inquired.
He claimed that Kejriwal has obstructed the PM Ayushman health initiative in the city, stating, “He intends to introduce his own Sanjeevani health insurance scheme because he dislikes the term ‘PM’ in the Ayushman scheme. Kejriwal aims to claim full credit by proposing his own program.”
Criticizing the former Chief Minister for corruption, pollution, and the failure to issue a single new ration card, the Delhi BJP chief remarked that Kejriwal has only succeeded in constructing a monument of corruption in the form of the ‘sheeshmahal’ (renovated official residence of the Chief Minister), alongside damaged roads, inflated electricity costs, and air pollution.
“Kejriwal’s mysterious cough disappeared while he resided in the ‘sheeshmahal’, while the citizens of Delhi struggled to breathe due to hazardous air,” Sachdeva concluded.
