New Delhi, Jan 22 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) introduced a fresh campaign anthem on Wednesday for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections, drawing on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to appeal to voters.

The anthem, named 'Jo Ram ko lekar aaye, unka raaj hoga Delhi mei' (Those who have brought Ram will govern in Delhi!), emphasizes critical issues troubling residents of Delhi, including pollution, unsafe drinking water, inadequate garbage disposal, sewage troubles, and packed landfills.

The BJP has underlined the necessity of a double-engine government in Delhi, pledging health insurance without discrimination if they gain power.

In a pointed critique of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the anthem employs phrases such as 'AAPda' and 'thieves' to denounce the current administration. The party conveyed its belief that the electorate of Delhi is poised to establish a BJP-led government, ousting the AAP.

Sharing the campaign anthem on social platforms, the BJP stated, 'In 2025, the entire public has decided to bring the BJP by removing the thieves', further adding, 'One of Modi's lions will be crowned in Delhi. Those who have brought Ram will rule Delhi!'

This campaign song is not the BJP's first musical endeavor during this election cycle. Previously, the party released another campaign tune, 'Bahane nahi badlav chahiye, Delhi mei BJP ki Sarkaar chahiye' (Delhi demands change, not excuses; it needs the BJP government), performed by BJP MP Manoj Tiwari.

The anthem was formally launched during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Parivartan Rally last week in Rohini and has been disseminated widely as part of the campaign for the February 5 elections.

Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to engage with Delhi BJP's booth-level workers via video conferencing under the party's Mera Booth Sabse Majboot (My Booth, the Strongest) initiative on Wednesday. This interaction is set for 1 p.m., just weeks ahead of the Assembly elections.

During the session, PM Modi will share strategic insights and motivate workers to communicate the BJP's message and vision for the future to every household. Party members from 13,033 booths across all 256 wards in Delhi will be part of this virtual gathering.

Voting for the Delhi Assembly elections is scheduled for February 5, with the counting of votes set for February 8.
