New Delhi, Nov 24 (NationPress) In a groundbreaking initiative, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has revealed that Namo Bharat trains and stations along the Delhi-Meerut corridor are now available for private events such as birthday parties, pre-wedding photoshoots, and other significant celebrations.

This initiative aims to transform the high-speed rail system into a multifunctional space for creative and unforgettable experiences.

The policy mirrors a rising global trend of utilizing public infrastructure as unique venues for events, photography, and commercial shoots. By granting access to its futuristic coaches and state-of-the-art stations, the NCRTC aspires to provide a distinctive backdrop that merges beauty with practicality.

Under the new guidelines, individuals, event organizers, photographers, and media companies can reserve both static coaches and operational trains. For controlled photoshoots, a mock-up coach at the Duhai Depot is also accessible, allowing organizers to manage setups and lighting without interfering with train operations.

Bookings commence at Rs 5,000 per hour, with an extra 30 minutes allocated for setup and dismantling. Events can take place between 6 am and 11 pm, minimizing disruption for commuters. While decorations are allowed, the NCRTC stipulates that only simplistic decor is permitted, ensuring no damage to interiors or disruption to regular services. Staff and security personnel from NCRTC will oversee events to maintain safety and smooth operations.

In addition to personal events, the NCRTC has rolled out a premises-hiring policy for film shoots, advertisements, documentaries, and digital content, enabling short-term bookings at competitive rates. This opens up avenues for content creators and filmmakers to leverage the sleek design and modern amenities of Namo Bharat as visually captivating backdrops.

Stations such as Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Duhai, and Meerut South are anticipated to attract couples, families, and photographers in search of unconventional, scenic locations. With their clean designs, abundant lighting, and spacious areas, these stations present a refreshing alternative to traditional banquet halls and outdoor venues.

Officials highlight that this initiative not only fosters creative expression but also showcases NCRTC’s modern infrastructure in a new perspective, elevating the high-speed rail corridor beyond being merely a transportation system.
