Borivali Residents Praise PM Modi for Ayushman Card Distribution

Borivali, Dec 16 (NationPress) Senior citizens aged 70 years and above are now enjoying the advantages of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), which offers free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. The initiative to issue Ayushman cards to these elderly individuals is actively taking place at several government hospitals, primary health centers, and community health centers.
On Monday, some residents of Borivali in Mumbai received their Ayushman cards and were visibly delighted. IANS interviewed a few of them.
One senior citizen, Vasant Joshi, expressed, “I obtained my Ayushman card today. This will be beneficial for us. As someone over 70 years old, I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as this scheme allows me to access treatment worth Rs 5 lakh each year. PM Modi is implementing excellent programs for the underprivileged in our nation.”
Rita Joshi remarked, “The Ayushman Yojana is a fantastic initiative. When we are unwell, financial constraints often hinder us from obtaining treatment. However, with the Ayushman Yojana, we can access treatment worth Rs 5 lakh in hospitals. Today, we are feeling incredibly relieved. PM Modi is making significant contributions to our country.”
In conversation with IANS, Vipin Shah stated, “Today we received our Ayushman card, and we are thankful to PM Modi. Our card has been processed through our Aadhar card.”
Sitaram Garg added, “I have my Ayushman card now, which enables me to receive treatment worth Rs 5 lakh each year. Prime Minister Modi is truly doing commendable work.”
Another woman shared her thoughts, saying that PM Modi has implemented an excellent program for senior citizens. “Many of us lack medical insurance and struggle to afford treatment. With the Ayushman card, we can seek treatment at any hospital. It brings us immense joy to have our Ayushman card ready. I wish to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Central Government has introduced a remarkable initiative. Prime Minister Modi is doing a fantastic job.”
