Delhi BJP Accuses Kejriwal of Attempting to Inflate Voter Rolls in Border Regions

New Delhi, Dec 30 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, on Monday charged AAP National Convenor and former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal with plotting to introduce bogus voters in Assembly districts that border other states.

During a joint press conference with former MP Pravesh Sahib Singh, Sachdeva asserted that the registration of fake voters is occurring openly by the ruling AAP. He presented an example from the voter list of the New Delhi Assembly seat, revealing an address listed as “zero” where 144 votes are registered.

Sachdeva pointed out that in the last four days, there have been applications for 1,83 lakh new voters. The breakdown includes: Narela 4,503, Burari 7,027, Badli 4,575, Rithala 4,197, Mundka 4,501, Kirati 6,255, Nangloi Jat 6,523, Badarpur 6,647, Okhla 4,601, Gokalpur 5,171, Mustafabad 5,502, and Karawal Nagar 7,087 applications received.

He emphasized that the BJP has consistently advocated for the removal of absentee, shifted, and dead (ASD) voters, while accusing Kejriwal of trying to safeguard these fraudulent votes.

Former MP Pravesh Sahib Singh remarked that Kejriwal is now evidently exhibiting signs of frustration.

Concerned about potential defeat, he has resorted to falsehoods. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, there were 1,46,000 voters in the New Delhi Assembly, but currently, only 1,06,000 voters remain, with 22,000 new additions, indicating that 61,000 voters have vanished over the past five years. Every month, approximately 1,000 voters are disappearing, yet Kejriwal has never convened a press conference to address this issue.

The former MP alleged that Kejriwal's team is specifically targeting BJP voters and manipulating the vote count. The Sarojini Nagar area, historically a BJP stronghold, has experienced significant vote cuts.

He highlighted that at house number “A,” votes were eliminated, while at the non-existent house number “Zero,” 144 votes were registered.

Moreover, several addresses are absent, yet they still account for 87 votes. Who are these individuals, where do they reside, and how is Kejriwal achieving electoral success in his constituency? he asked, accusing him of misuse of power.

The former MP challenged Kejriwal to visit the addresses he mentioned and clarify the whereabouts of these voters.
