Woman’s Rejection of Electoral Roll Name Deletion Claims Undermines Kejriwal: Delhi BJP

New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) The Delhi BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva, has charged former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with engaging in a politics laden with deception and confusion. He pointed to a woman who was incorrectly portrayed as a victim of "name deletion" from the electoral roll, which has refuted the claims made by the AAP leader.

Sachdeva emphasized that such occurrences illustrate a significant lack of credibility in Kejriwal's statements, asserting that this incident confirms that the AAP leader is a recurrent liar.

During a program held in Kidwai Nagar on Monday, Kejriwal introduced a woman asserting that her name was removed from the electoral roll despite her holding an EPIC card, according to Sachdeva.

However, in an interview on Tuesday, the woman, Chandra, clarified that she remains a registered voter in the Tri Nagar constituency and has consistently participated in voting, he stated.

Chandra noted that she never conveyed to Kejriwal any issues regarding her name being expunged from the voters’ list, suggesting he might have made the declaration due to a misunderstanding.

Sachdeva reiterated that the BJP has continuously highlighted Kejriwal’s deceptive politics and confusion, noting a lack of credibility in his statements, and this incident marks the latest example.

With Chandra’s statement exposing Kejriwal's inaccuracies, residents of Delhi have realized that he exploited her as a tool to spread the illusion of widespread voter name deletions, asserted the Delhi BJP chief.

Sachdeva concluded that following Chandra's false narrative, it is reasonable to deduce that Kejriwal’s claims of personal attacks are also self-manufactured incidents.

He added that since the BJP has called for an inquiry into the alleged inclusion of names belonging to Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators in the voters’ list, Kejriwal seems troubled, as “possibly these illegal infiltrators are the cornerstone of AAP’s electoral success.”

Previously, BJP’s New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj accused the AAP government of disseminating falsehoods and deceiving the elderly in the city in the guise of ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’, asserting that the Health Secretary of the Delhi government informed her and L-G V.K. Saxena that such a health insurance scheme does not exist.

“We have heard of electoral jumalas (promises), but the AAP has unleashed a new variant of electoral chalawa (deceit),” Swaraj commented, urging the elderly to remain vigilant against misleading promises from Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi regarding the non-existent ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’.
