New Delhi, Jan 1 (NationPress) The Delhi Minister for Social Welfare, Ravinder Indraj Singh, emphasized on Thursday that there will be no compromise regarding the quality of development initiatives. He warned that strict actions will be taken against officials who fail to meet project deadlines.
Ravinder Indraj, who also oversees North West Delhi, made these remarks during a community engagement session, promising that all dilapidated water supply and sewage systems would be upgraded.
He instructed officials to ensure that no water or sewer connections are issued without validated building plans.
Ravinder Indraj toured areas such as Deep Vihar, Begumpur, Barwala Road, Rajiv Nagar, Rajiv Nagar Extension, Pappu Colony, Krishna Colony, Shiv Vihar, and Shahbad Dairy. During his visit, he interacted with residents and gave immediate directives to officials for swift resolution of issues.
Residents expressed their concerns about road construction, water supply issues, drain cleaning, and sewer overflow during the outreach activity.
They also raised alarms about waterlogging during the monsoon, as reported in an official statement.
The Cabinet Minister directed the officials from the Delhi Jal Board, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, and the Public Works Department to prioritize a timely, transparent, and quality-focused approach to resolving all complaints.
Ravinder Indraj mentioned that, following instructions from Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, officials should regularly monitor their areas, ensure quality in development projects, and maintain ongoing communication with the public.

The Minister reiterated that the government's aim is to provide every colony with essential infrastructure, including roads, sewage systems, water supply, sanitation, and street lighting, to support a dignified lifestyle for all citizens.
