Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Feb 7 (NationPress) In a deliberate initiative by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), state leaders continued to share intricate details of the Union Budget, with Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra commendably recognizing the budget's emphasis on the Creative Economy.
"For the first time, the budget highlights the Creative Economy (often referred to as the Orange Economy). Our content creators represent the soft power of our nation. The budget has opened new doors for them, particularly in digital infrastructure and intellectual property protection," stated Kapil Mishra, who oversees the Art, Culture, and Language portfolio, during a discussion with prominent social media influencers about the Union Budget 2026–27 at the Delhi BJP Office.
He further elaborated that the bolstering of the startup ecosystem under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led to a shift where youth are becoming 'job creators' rather than merely 'job seekers'.
According to Minister Mishra, the Union Budget 2026–27 champions youth innovation and empowerment.
He emphasized that the conversations are not only centered on a single-year budget but also on a comprehensive roadmap extending over the next 25 years towards achieving 'Viksit Bharat–2047'.
Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia expressed support for the 13th budget proposal from the Modi-led Union government, asserting that the inaugural budget prepared at Kartavya Bhavan will propel India's development.
He explained that the 2026 Union Budget, which fosters the construction industry, tourism, development of pilgrimage sites, and medical tourism, aims to energize and empower the youth of India.
Chandolia mentioned that the provision of a security cover for loans to private builders will stimulate new development models in Delhi and urban areas, enhancing the construction sector.
"The Modi government has emphasized medical tourism in the Union Budget 2026 to bolster healthcare for the elderly, potentially generating thousands of jobs in the healthcare sector," he added.
This budget, aimed at growth, is expected to infuse enthusiasm and job opportunities for millions of professionals, Chandolia remarked.
"The expansion of the national hotel industry, pilgrimage site development, and cultural preservation will create numerous job openings," he asserted.
He described the budget as being youth-friendly and supportive of sports and athletic talent.
"The new Income Tax Act, introduced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and set to take effect from April 1, 2026, is a positive move," he said.
"By refraining from imposing new taxes, the Union government has offered considerable relief to the middle class," Chandolia remarked.
He pointed out that by incentivizing foreign data service companies to operate in India, the Union government has opened new employment pathways for the youth.
Chandolia concluded that tax benefits on smartphones will greatly assist the youth, while more affordable microwave ovens will aid homemakers.
