First Baby Born at Temporary Hospital in Maha Kumbh Mela Region

New Delhi, Dec 30 (NationPress) A remarkable achievement has been recorded at the temporary hospital located in the Maha Kumbh Mela region. A team of doctors successfully performed their inaugural delivery, welcoming a baby boy, which has filled the atmosphere with joy.
Under the guidance of Dr. Gaurav Dubey, a skilled team of three medical professionals conducted the delivery on Sunday.
Dr. Dubey, serving as the Nodal Medical Officer of the Maha Kumbh Mela, confirmed the news by stating, "This signifies the first successful delivery at the Central Hospital in Maha Kumbh Nagar."
The mother, a 20-year-old named Sonam, gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 2.4 kilograms. The delivery was expertly managed by Dr. Dubey's team, which comprised Dr. Nupur and Dr. Vartika.
Both mother and child are reported to be in excellent health. Dr. Dubey expressed his appreciation for the committed team, adding, "This success demonstrates the preparedness and effectiveness of the healthcare system established in the Maha Kumbh Mela area."
The Central Hospital, situated within the temporary setup of the Maha Kumbh Mela, is offering delivery services for the first time, complete with a fully equipped labor room to support expectant mothers during the event.
Regarding this achievement, Rama Singh, Matron of the Maha Kumbh Mela Central Hospital, commented, "The delivery was executed with utmost care and precision. It stands as the first and a highly successful delivery. We take pride in providing this vital service to our community."
Sonam, the new mother, expressed her joy to IANS: "I am incredibly happy and thankful to all the staff and doctors who ensured my baby's safe delivery. My child is healthy, and I feel truly blessed. Whatever name the doctors and staff suggest for my child will be the name we choose."
Her mother also shared her gratitude, saying, "This region, being the Kumbh area, holds divine significance. I am thankful to the doctors and other staff for their dedicated service. My grandchild is healthy, and the delivery was successful. This is a moment of great joy for us."
