Gurugram, April 1 (NationPress) Three individuals were apprehended for allegedly executing stunts in a moving vehicle in the Badshahpur locality of Gurugram, as reported by police on Tuesday.
The authorities have confiscated three cars that were reportedly engaged in reckless stunts at high speeds. These actions caused significant disruptions to traffic for several minutes, endangering commuters, according to the police.
The detained individuals have been identified as Rohan Yadav, Krishna Yadav, who hail from the village of Fazilpur Jharssa in Gurugram, and Hitesh Yadav, a resident of Sector-21 in Gurugram.
According to an official, a Mahindra Thar, a Swift, and a Verna were among the seized vehicles.
The police also retrieved CCTV footage that confirmed their reckless behavior and traced them through the vehicle registration numbers, successfully identifying the suspects.
The situation came to light after a video allegedly depicting a Mahindra Thar, Swift, and Verna performing stunts in the Badshahpur area circulated on social media.
In response, the Gurugram Police initiated a case under the relevant legal sections at the Badshahpur Police Station on Monday.
“The accused Rohan and Krishna are biological siblings. Rohan has completed a BBA degree, Krishna has a BCA degree, while Hitesh holds an MBA,” the official stated.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted that they engaged in these acts purely for fun and to create videos.
“The trio was released on bail later on Monday night, but their vehicles remain confiscated. The investigation is ongoing,” the official added.
Previously, in January, four men were arrested for allegedly performing stunts in a moving Ford Mustang GT and filming the incident to share on social media in an underpass on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase-I, Gurugram.
“We urge the public to refrain from participating in such activities, which not only disrupt traffic for extended periods but also pose a threat to the lives of commuters. Strict measures will be enforced against anyone found engaging in such behavior,” stated Sandeep Kumar, Spokesperson of the Gurugram Police.
