Gurugram, April 9 (NationPress) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini extended his heartfelt congratulations to Narendra Kumar, the state's pioneering mountaineer, for successfully hoisting the Tricolor atop the world's most challenging peak, the 8091-meter-high Mount Annapurna in Nepal.
“On behalf of every Haryanvi, I offer my warmest congratulations to this son of Haryana, wishing you all the best for a bright future. Your incredible achievement has made every citizen proud,” the Chief Minister shared on X.
Narendra Kumar, hailing from the village of Mingni Kheda in the Nalwa constituency of Hisar district, has inscribed his name in the annals of history by successfully reaching the summit of the world’s 10th highest peak.
This remarkable expedition was completed on April 7 at 10:30 AM local time on one of the most perilous mountains located in Nepal.
At just 29 years of age, Narendra was not only the youngest member of the expedition team but also took on the role of team leader for an international group consisting of eleven members from six countries—India, Vietnam, the US, Japan, the UK, and South Africa.
His exceptional leadership and tenacity guided this diverse team through the treacherous climb of Mount Annapurna, recognized as one of the most hazardous and technically challenging ascents in the world.
Narendra's successful climb is a testament to human endurance, bravery, and unwavering determination.

Narendra has been actively involved with the M3M Foundation as a Sankalp Volunteer and Environmental Ambassador, inspiring countless individuals through his initiatives that focus on climate change, sustainability, and youth leadership.
“Narendra is a humble individual with a steadfast commitment to assist five young girls from Haryana realize their dream of reaching the Everest Base Camp, which I assigned to him as a challenge. He embraced this challenge with enthusiasm. These girls, dubbed ‘The Elemental Sisters,’ not only accomplished the expedition but also emerged as icons of courage and hope.
